Out one day buying fabrics from The Hassidic Jewish Community in 1990’s Stoke Newington, Andrew Rutland stumbled upon a warehouse full of 1970’s and 80’s t-shirt transfers. A deal was hastily struck and the next day Andrew drove the bounty away in a rented Luton Van.

The transfers have since sat for another 20 years in the garage, slowly fermenting. Now they seem perfectly ripe to hit the market as Let it Gibbon, the UK’s largest archive of vintage t-shirt transfers.

All the transfers that you see listed on these pages are for sale. The prices vary according to the rarity of the transfers.

Most of our transfers were British made between about ’74 and ’84.

We sell them here applied to either tee shirts or sweatshirts. If you have a favourite garment that you would like to apply a transfer to get in touch and we will see what we can do. If you want a specific colour tee or sweat that is not offered as stock we can also potentially help. We also offer the transfers in 12″ x 12″ frames for the same price as a tee shirt.

We cut up and collage the transfers too. Have a look at some of our custom designs. If you have a specific custom idea in mind get in touch. We can add names and dates, text, whatever you want. Each garment is totally unique and they make for great, affordable presents.

Wholesale is available.

You Can buy the T shirts direct from us here but you can also find us at pop up events and workshops throughout the year where you can make your own custom garments.

We’re also available for private hire for parties. We will come with Tees, transfers and the heat presses to add a touch of 70’s/80’s nostalgia to your event.
